He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Edwards and Verda Edwards (Hughes); his wife Dolores Barter; his granddaughter Kimberly Williams; and his great grandchild Jason Weybright.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Weybright (Gary) of Decatur and Linda Stubblefield (George) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Scott Weybright (Lynne), Jennifer Ballinger (Dennis), Mandy Brown and Melissa Morehead (Rob); his great grandchildren, Chelsea (David), Stephanie, Brycen, Evan, Grace, Madelynne, Miranda, Andrew, Mary and Stacey; his great great grandchildren, Isabella, Dylan and Kimberly; and also Annette Crutchfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
