He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis R. McLain and Opal F. McLain (Thompson); and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Trueblood of Decatur; his daughter Pamela L. Coleman of Mt. Zion; and his siblings, Joan Short of Decatur and Jim McLain (Carol) of Moweaqua. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
