He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence and Ada Oseland (Rountree); his son Brian Oseland; and his sister Donna Brady (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Miriam Ruth Turner; his children, Gregory Oseland (Pamela) of Peru, IL, Tom Oseland (Linda) and Margaret Schloemer (Rick); his daughter-in-law Angela Oseland of Sumter, SC; his nephew Mike Brady (Holly); his granddaughters, Elizabeth (Jason), Jessica Wolf (Ben), Hannah and Brianna Oseland; and his stepgrandchildren, Richard, Jake Jerome and Megan Muchow.
