He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Gail Brooks; his children, Kip Allan Brooks Jr. (Clarissa) and Sheena Marie Brooks; his stepchildren, Michael Shane Lockwood (Kari Hibdon), Crystal Dawn Lockwood and Tiffany Arica Fowler (Kevin); his sisters, Gaila Felton (Bud) and Londa Ricketts; and his grandchildren, Jessica Lockwood, Colton Lockwood, Chad Howell, Jayden Sanderfield, Brooklyn Howell, Makayla Brooks, Dominic Brooks and Xavier Brooks. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
