He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Phillips and Pauline Phillips (Scott); and his siblings, Larry, Robert Phillips and Carolyn P. McCaskill.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Phillips; his children, Candace Phillips, Michael Phillips (Bridget) and Sharity Phillips; his siblings, Rudolph, Johnny, Richard Phillips, Sandra Mickle and Deborah Palmer; and his grandchildren, Destiny, JaBreion, Tierra, Brylan, Monah, Jashaun, Brianna, Zh-Aria and Saniya. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Love Fellowship Christian Church (1567 N Clinton St, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
