Kathy Carnes-Harris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Carnes-Harris of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Carnes and Eloyce Carnes (Barnes); her sister-in-law Julie Tinney; and her mother-in-law Carol Poland. She is survived by: her husband Chuck Harris of Decatur; her son Travis (Kelly); her grandchild Joey of Pontoon Beach; her daughter Chelsey Harris (Mathew Miller) of O'Fallon; her brother Dave Carnes (Kay) of Monticello; her sisters-in-law, Debbie Larsen and Diana Harris of Decatur; and her nieces and nephews, Kathy Miller, Danny Tinney, Will Tinney of Virginia Beach, Kristen Larsen of Decatur and Amanda Hoffman of Florida. She is also survived by several granddogs and grandcats; and many cousins.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairlawn Cemetery (1600 W King St, Decatur, IL 62522).
