With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Tudor of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Karen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary M. Wallis; and her brothers, Randy Root, Dean Root, Ted Minton and Tom Minton.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Tudor (Julie) of Decatur, IL. and Melissa Sturnacle (Mike) of Washington State; her grandchildren, Joshua Sturnacle and Ashlei Stuckey (Garrett); her siblings, David Minton (Christine) and Jennie Liss (Frank); and her close friend Jim Breazzeal. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
