June Turner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Turner of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June Turner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Morville and Opal Morville (Stuart); her husband Maurice Turner; her children, David Turner and Alice Watson; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Watson, Thomas Pifko and Joseph Turner; and her siblings, Frances Westerfield, Beverly Wood, Sandra Wagner, Roy Morville Jr., Donald Morville and Warren Morville.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia "Cyndi" Pifko (Dan) of Oak Lawn, IL, Bonita "Boni" Albright (Jack) of Powder Springs, GA and Lydia Trester (Ted) of Mt. Airy, MD; her children-in-law, Arlin Watson of Decatur and Annette Turner of Decatur; her grandchildren, Susan (Bob), Stephanie (Chris), Jaime (Ryan), Ean, Natalie (Martin), Parker (Elizabeth), Sara (Dan), Steven (Leah), Morgan and Madison; her great grandchildren, Theresa, Ryan, Patrick, Caleb (Sayde), Zachary (Kayley), Matthew, Dallas, John Parker, Addison, Benedikt, Declan, Ryker, Emily, Marcus and Corbin; her great great grandchildren, Rainesleigh, Sunnie and Waverly; and her close friend Don Dagley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Mt Zion, IL 62549). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in June's memory to the Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois Charitable Fund.
