She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Ahlers and Adele Ahlers (Balke); her husband Richard "Dick" Wheaton Allen; and her stepdaughter Kathryn Allen-Baackes. She is survived by: her stepsons, Mark Allen (Linda) and David Allen; her grandchildren, Kristen Allen Silzer (Steve), Eric Allen, Alexandra Baackes, Olivia Baackes Scanlon (John) and Dakota Allen (Shiori); and her great grandchildren, Beckett Silzer and Vivian Scanlon.
