He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer C. Hawkins and Virginia R. Hawkins (Doherty). He is survived by: his wife Laura Hawkins of Decatur; his daughters, Jordan Spreitzer (Bryan) of Springfield, IL, Brynn Hansen (Daniel) of Mt. Zion and Dyllan Mazzanti (Stephen) of Dallas, TX; his siblings, Geri McGrath (Tom) of Decatur, Amy Stice (Bill) of Chatham, Bob Hawkins (Susie) of Mt. Zion and Jeff Hawkins (Mona) of Decatur; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Chace, Erin, Griffin, Gage, Mace, Sabine and Thomas.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Mt Zion, IL 62549). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kc Hall (520 E N St, Decatur, IL 62523).
