He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. and Florence Meyers, Jr.; his children, John C. Meyers and Rose Marie "Rosie" Meyers; and his sisters, Sharon and Susan.

He is survived by: his spouse Lesa Jordan; his daughter Rachel Harris (Jeff); his grandchildren, Megan Macklin (Josh), Morgan Harris and Paige Cothren (Jared); his great grandchildren, Grayden Macklin, Gibson Macklin and Lola Cothren; his brother Michael Meyers (Donna); his nephew Alex Daniels; and his niece Alison Daniels (Tim Cummings).
