We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2021, at the age of 67, John Allen Mize of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mize and Lavina Mize (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kiser; his children, Kary Askew (Jason), Max Sweitzer (Janine), Jane Farmer, Lorina Harl (Larry), Melinda Mize-Milam (Mike) and Carol Arnold (Kaylen); his brother Francis "Dale" Mize; and his grandchildren, Max, Lakota, Addison, Abigail, Larry Jr., Cora, Brandon, Thomas, Katrina, Clay, Allison, Madilyn and Mackenzie.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
