He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Overton and Helen Overton (Lipe); his children, Mark and Jennifer; his brother Jim (Ray); and his niece Sherry.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Jerry Overton Jr. (Amy) of Clinton, IL, Pam Minton (Rick) of Cerro Cordo, IL and Melissa Bolt of Mt. Zion, IL; his sister Fausta Lynn Bridgman (Steve) of Roswell, GA; his brother-in-law Denny Webb (Sheila); his niece Nancy; his nephew Merle; his grandchildren, Lindsey (Chris), Amanda, Lexi (Seth), Ryan (Sami), Molly (Nick), Drew (Taylor), Jacob (Miranda) and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Lainey, Gage, Hunter, Haylee, Jayden, Bradley, Rylee, Tenley, Harper and Theo.
