He was predeceased by: his uncle Richard L. Sykes. He is survived by: his daughters, Neola Briggs (Brian) of Decatur, IL, Jennifer (Robert) of Marietta, GA and Azalia Sykes of Springfield, IL; and his grandchildren, Zakari, Zachary Briggs, Raina of Marietta, GA, Keiyan and Keimari Mehundrew.
