He is survived by: his wife Sue Gillen (Roderick); his sister Joyce Morenz (Gillen) of Tulsa Oklahoma; his sons, Scott Gillen (Amy), Decatur, Greg Gillen (Alicia) and James Gillen (Christina); his niece Ashley Rhodes (Jeff); his grandchildren, Reagan Adams (Dustin), Warrensburg, Shayne Gillen, Penelope, Ezra Baker and Decatur; his great grandchild Harper Adams (Decatur); his brothers, Dick Gillen and Ron Gillen; his son Todd Gillen; and his grandson Tanner Gillen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Boiling Springs Church of God (2350 Boiling Springs Rd, Decatur, IL 62526).
