It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Douglass of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James C. Douglass to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C Douglass and Harriet F. Douglass (McDonald). He is survived by: his sons, Ty Douglass (Jennifer), Tony Douglass (Jennifer) of Mt, Chris Douglass (Lindsay) of Decatur, IL and Hunter Douglass of Decatur; his sisters, Martha Fast (Byron) of Paducah, KY, Jane Campbell (Stuart) of Decatur, IL and Sally Deibert (Roger) of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Aly, James, Emma, Reid, Lola, Harper and Clara.

Memorials may be made in Jim's memory c/o Ducks Unlimited.

We hunted, camped, and went fishing through the mid 90's.We played baseball together and had great times at Sun N Fun Swim Club. He was an outstanding athlete and a dear friend.
