She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Black and Ruth Black (Sigler); and her husband Russell Murphy Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mark (Melanie) of Armstrong, IL, Steve of Red Wing, MN, Mike (Mary) and Ann Keller (Paul) of Decatur, IL; and her sister Dorothy Holtcamp (Bill) of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
