He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Himstedt and Marie Himstedt; his wife Mary Ann Thull; his daughter Elizabeth Marie Aufmuth; and his sister Joyce Evelyn Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Haldon "Buddy" Himstedt Jr. (Caren) and Curtis Himstedt (Pam); his son-in-law George Aufmuth; and his grandchildren, Jill, Jennifer, Todd, Daniel and Elizabeth. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
