It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gratha Farmer (Decatur, Illinois), born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Vaughn (Winters) and Jimmy Vaughn; her son Kenneth Farmer; her siblings, James Vaughn, Lillie Ruth Owens and Dale Sinor Burnett Taylor; and her niece Virginia Dare White.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Elbert (Felicia) of Springfield, IL, Leamon, Jr. Farmer (Patricia) of Cleveland Heights, OH, Arlene Sabrena Farmer of Stonecrest, GA and Jennifer Farmer of Cedar Lakes, IN; her sister Earnett Robinson of Decatur, IL; her sister-in-law Ailine Vaughn of Humboldt, TN; her grandchildren, Nikkie Cash (Richard) of Akron, OH, Donald, Jr. Farmer (Tonya) of Beleville, IL, Alyssa Farmer of Springfield, IL, Ashley Farmer of Springfield, IL, Nia Farmer of Springfield, IL and Brandon Powell of Decatur, IL; her great grandchildren, Brandon Cash, Ryan Cash, Damian Farmer, Skyla Farmer and Mason Powell; and her nieces and nephews, Joyce E. Vaughn, Francine Owens (Chester), Linda Jenkins, Annette Singletary (Kevin), Trina Calvert (Varnell), Ollie R. Owens, Kathy Reed, Annetha Hill, Sussian Taylor, Galyin Rose (Angelo), Vickie Stokes, Donna Robinson, John Earl Vaughn, James L. Vaughn, Donnie Vaughn and Aaron Taylor, Jr..
