He is survived by: his children, Michael Richter (Angela) of Winfield, AL and Christina Richter (Brian Oosdyke) of Coeur; his siblings, James Richter of Taylorville, IL and Rosemary Mundhenke of Morrisonville, IL; his grandchildren, Brittney Richter of Winfield, AL, Brooklyn Richter of Fayetteville, NC, Maxwell Oosdyke of Scottsdale, AZ and Jackson Oosdyke of Scottsdale, AZ; his great grandchild Toby Gonzales of Winfield, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Richter of Florida, Bethe Little (Alan) of Moweaqua, IL and Mark Tippet (Pat) of Decatur.
A prayer was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Mt Zion, IL 62549). Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (400 N Whitetail Cir, Mt Zion, IL 62549).
