It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Lawson of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Henry and Zolla Mae Ruff (Polley); her siblings, Robert Ruff and Pauline Shouse; and her sister-in-law Betty Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lawson of Decatur and Tammy True (David) of Boody; her grandchildren, David Lee, Caleb and Brock True; and her brothers, Gerald Ruff (Peggy) of Forsyth, Roger Ruff (Joyce) of Decatur and Gary Ruff (Dorothy) of Decatur.
