It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geaneen Lee Sowa of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Augenstein and Betty Augenstein (Boaz); her husband Stanley Sowa; and her siblings, Noel and Jerry.

She is survived by: her children, Adam Sowa of Macon, Zac Sowa (Kristin) of Forsyth, Casey Sowa of Decatur and Kelly Sowa of Decatur; her grandchildren, Jaidyn Sowa, Stone Sowa, Ellie Sowa, Jackson Griffin and Addison Sowa; and her great grandchild Kiyah Sowa.
