He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeta Lee and Clara Casner (Karlowski); his wife Gloria Sue Gregurich; and his brother Rex Casner. He is survived by: his children, Troy Gregurich (Joey) of Palm Springs, CA, Gary Casner Jr. (Kim) of Decatur, Tammy M. Ooton of Decatur and Dawn Prater (Gary) of Decatur; and his brother Kim Casner (Lori). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Gary's name are suggested to the American Heart Association.
