With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Leon Reed Sr. of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob F. Reed and Edith Mae Reed (Thompson); his wife Sherry Markwell; and his stepdaughter Mandy Hise. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Ann Reed of Las Vegas, NV, Frank Reed Jr. (Kelly) of Decatur, IL, Leona Lucas (James) of Harristown, IL, Jeffery Reed (Alice) of Blue Mound, IL and Melody McCoy (Todd) of Blue Mound, IL; his stepdaughters, Kelly Johnson, Jamie Reed and Tina Rhodes; and his siblings, Fred Reed (Dorothy) of Decatur, Betty Ann Johnson of Decatur, IL and Patty Sue Reed of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
