She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gates and Laura Gates (Nichols); and her daughter Kimberly Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Walter Scott (Carolyn), Toby Scott (Sharon) and Ruth Brucker (Ray); and her grandchildren, Walter Scott (Tara), Jeffrey Scott (Pamela), Angela Holota (Tommy), Brian Barnes (Alison) and Shelbi Scott. She is also survived by two sisters & two brothers.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given in her name to: Alzheimer's Foundation or Parkinson's Foundation.
