Though Elgene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Scott and Wilmeth Scott (Roberts); and her husband Jack Donald Morrison. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Bruner and Sue Kelly; and her sister Barbara Specht. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
