He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie C. Tate Sr. and Bobbie H. Tate; and his siblings, Katie Tate, Bobbie H. Tate and Williams Tate.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mattie L. Shandon, Virginia Tyson of Decatur, IL and Freddie Tate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
