With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Nixon (Decatur, Illinois), who passed away on July 5, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ellis and Nellie Mae Ellis (Cross); and her spouse Vincent "Benny" Nixon. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Wilber (Charles Stivers) of Decatur and Beverly Stoll (Henry) of Beason; her grandchildren, Timothy Wilber (Christine Sawyer) of Cape Coral, FL, Mona Martin of Tyler, TX and Jami Hallam (Mike) of Decatur; her nephew Bob Reynolds; and her niece Vivian Willis (Rick).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Decatur Macon County Animal Shelter.
