She was predeceased by: her husband Isaac Edwards; her parents, Percy Meeks and Mattiel Meeks; her siblings, Sammy Meeks, Percy Meeks Jr. and Delores Meeks (Small); and her nephews, Mark Meeks and Jerome Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Sherell (Frederick), Jefferson of Canton, MS, Darnell (Earline), Deatres (Columbus) and Tate; her grandchildren, Steven Smith (Ozie), Alexia Ware, Tyler Wilson, Chrisjaan Smith, Sylvia Wilson, Donovan Harden, Sydney Wilson, Carson Harden, Dante, Zho'nyla, Zaria and Skylynn; and her siblings, Earl Meeks, Rudolph Meeks, Ruthie Singleton, Sherley Tyus, Christine Owens, Evon Robinson, Ada Owens and Elease Meeks.
