It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M Jacobs (Decatur, Illinois), born in Greenville, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Mollet and Polly Mollet (Willeford); and her husband Carl Jacobs. She is survived by: her daughters, Ginger Hanley (Marty) of St. Louis, MO, Brenda Silano of Lincoln, IL, Sara Contevita (late John) of Tucson, AZ and Rebecca Jacobs (Ed Richter) of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Anthony (Christi), Mario (Monica), Nick, Amy (Alex), Carl (Alicen), Alice, Marion (Brian) and Brooklyn; and her siblings, Marshall Mollet of Greenville and Patty Whitchurch of Decatur. She is also survived by 4 great-granddaughters.
