Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Doris Lewis of Decatur, Illinois, born in Whiteville, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 78, on April 1, 2022. She was predeceased by: her stepfather Rev. Timothy Grimes; her former husband John L. Woods; and her sister Essie Watkins (Clyde Lewis). She is survived by: her son Christopher Woods (Lisa); her grandchildren, Karly and Alex (James Johnson); her sisters, Dessie Boyd of Oakwood Village, Margaret Robertson (Darnell) of Warrensville Heights and Alma Oneita Miller (Ridley) of Decatur; and her nephews, Randolph and Larry Reynolds. She is also survived by her brothers, many nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
