He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rev. T. J. and Shirley D. Jackson; his aunts, Clemmie Webster, Nitell Starks and Alice Yvonne Jackson; his cousins, John West, Rev. Vincent P. Joyner, Clarence "Skippy" Joyner, Preston Joyner, Anthony Joyner, Melba Wright and Stacy Phillips; and also Shirley A. Labrador (Jackson).

He is survived by: his siblings, Lilia Y. Coleman (Fred) of Sacramento and Leland R. Labrador (Alisia) of Decatur, Illinois.; his nieces, Lekel T. Taylor (Dwayne), Ashley S. Hunt (Jeremy) and Paige A. Labrador; and his close friend William Templin of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, great-nephews, and nieces.
