He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Freyling and Naomi Freyling (French); and his sister Dianna. He is survived by: his wives, Jeannine Thomas and Jeannine Freyling; his brother Dennis Freyling (Carol) of St. Louis, MO; his stepchildren, Lynne Winick (Joel) of Decatur, Susan Downey (Tim DeVaan) of Indianapolis, IN and Michael Downey (Rosetta) of El Sobrante, CA; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Stroud (Joey), Ben Winick (Beth), Kailey DeVaan, Gabriella Downey, Rebecca Downey, Michael B. Downey, Ethan, Sydney, Adelaide and Atticus Winick; and also Sir Thomas. He is also survived by two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: First United Methodist Church or any veterans organization of donor's choice.
