He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Jones and Helen Jones (McMinn); and his former wife Elizabeth Goeddel. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McPherron; his brother H. Dean Jones MD (Carol); his children, Steve Jones (Kathleen), Sheri McManus (Shawn) and Shelli Braun (Tom); and his grandchildren, Michael, Mary, Ryan (Rachael) and Alex. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Dale's honor be made to the Good Samaritan Inn or First Presbyterian Church.
