He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Lee Johnson and Taylor "Sleepy" Lowery Jr.; and his brother Freddie Bell. He is survived by: his wife Zipporah Johnson; his children, Curtis L. Bond of Atlanta, GA, Lamar Lee of Atlanta, GA, David Bond of Atlanta, GA, Markus Love of Indianapolis, IN, Sylvia Johnson of Decatur, IL and Misty Lee of Virginia; and his siblings, Terry Lowery of Cincinnati and Mary Lee Bell of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
