He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin H. Ward and Mary Belle Ward (Peters); and his sister Sandra Kay Swigart. He is survived by: his siblings, John Ward (Nancy) of Decatur and Robin Fellwock of Decatur; and his nieces and nephews, Marcus Ward, Mary Reynolds, Maegan Anderson, Dana Sincebaugh, Joann Maulding, Benjamin Ward and Junior Lanham. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews; three great-great nieces, one great-great nephew; other relatives and friends.
