It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Taylor (Decatur, Illinois), who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie Ella Taylor; his sons, Clarence Taylor, Jr. of Milwaukee and Mardena Taylor of Decatur, Illinois; his parents, George Taylor and Willie Mae Taylor of Decatur, Illinois; his siblings, Curtis Taylor, Roosevelt "Bo" Taylor, Stanley Graham Taylor, Edward "Butchie" Taylor, Georgia Mae Reed of Decatur, Illinois. and Florine Toliver of Decatur, Illinois.; and his friend Nathaniel "Hut" Hudson.
He is survived by: his former wife Maggie Coleman; his close friend Hannah Walker; his sons, Vinson Taylor (Patricia), Leaunvel Taylor and Eric Edward Taylor (Velma); his stepson Kinny Jackson of Decatur, Illinois; his daughter Conchita Dula of Toledo; his sister Leanna Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Rena Patricia Taylor (late Stanley), Denelle Taylor (late Roosevelt) and Sophia Jackson (late James) of Decatur, Illinois. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
