She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert B. Emrick and Katherine I. Emrick (Peel); her brother John Foster; her sister-in-law Annie Foster; her nephew Michael Gray; and her granddaughter Michelle O'Hara.
She is survived by: her husband Michael E. McElroy of Decatur; her daughter Leanna Giltmier (Brett) of West Lafayette; her grandchildren, Andrew, Megan and Nicholas Giltmier; her family, Mitchell McElroy of Decatur and Timothee McElroy (Rachel) of Kankakee; her granddaughters, Leah and Tessa; her daughter-in-law Lori Gray of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Cynthia Denny of Nashville, TN, Earl "Monty" Gray III (Emily), Christopher Gray (Vicki) of Macon, Susan Derhak (Al) of Mt. Zion and Lisa Hanks of Decatur; and her siblings, Linda Smith of Decatur and Gary Foster of Crown Point. She is also survived by two granddaughters, and many great-grandchildren.
