He is survived by: his close friend Ollie Slaw; his daughter Vita Grant; his son-in-law Tamias Grant; his children, Javicho Slaw, Chad Slaw and Kim Banks; and his siblings, Carolyn Hussell, Cathy Vaulx (Darrell), Stella Sweet, Holzy Sweet, Dan Sweet, Christopher Sweet (Vanessa), Nathan Sweet, Sandra Sweet Shaw, Roy Sweet, Kevin Abdullah (Debra) and Deritchey Abdullah (Paula). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Walker Funeral & Chapel - North (790 E Mound Rd, Decatur, IL 62526).
