We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024, at the age of 76, Charles Lane of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lane and Mary Belle Mahon (Shake); and his brothers, David, Eric and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Stout; his children, Jenna "Bug" Lane of Waterford, WI, Nicholas Lane of Decatur, IL and Candace Damon (Brian) of Waterford, WI; his grandchildren, Alex, Ari and Brooklynn; and his brother Daniel Lane (Carol) of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
