He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Ann Greuel; his wife Patricia "Pat" Lugar of Decatur, IL; his children, Diane P. Sanders (David) of Springfield, IL, Gary C. Lugar (Jolene) of Maple Grove, MN and Gregory C. Lugar (Kathryn) of Decatur, IL; his sister Mary Verna Smith; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Sanders, Brynn Lugar and Kelsey Lugar.
