We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2023, at the age of 91, Carroll Doolen of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Doolen and Ruby Lawrence Doolen; his wife Ruth E. Buck of Decatur; his children, Vicki Cooper of Kappa, Susan Fryman of Dalton City and Guy Doolen of Decatur; his stepchildren, Allan Buck (Dawn) of Decatur and Paula Lindstrom (Don) of Du Bois, PA.; his grandchildren, Megan Lucas (Rob), Joseph Buck (Stephanie), Kyle Lindstrom, Sarah Jensen (Jesse), Grace Lindstrom, Wendy Real (Tony), Laurie Cooper, Travis Walden, Jerrod Atwood and Connor Doolen; and his great grandchildren, Lucy Real, AudreyAnne Atwood, Braden Jensen, Micah Jensen, Jack Jensen, Hazel Jensen, Riley Buck, Rowan Buck and Teddy Buck.
