It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carrell Sloan of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cecil and Daisy Mildred Payne (Brown); and her husband Harold A. Sloan. She is survived by: her children, Rodger Sloan (Shawnee) of Decatur, Scott Sloan (Cindy) of Decatur, Todd Sloan (Mary) of Decatur, Janelle Peters of Castle Rock, CO and Jill Skidmore (Steve) of Decatur. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
