Betty Pritchett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Pritchett of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilkinson and Edith Wilkinson (Myers); and her husband Bill Pritchett. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Haskell (Mike) of Decatur, Martha Burrus (Jay) of Decatur, Mary Pritchett of Decatur and Helen Chupp (Tim) of Santa Fe, TN; her grandchildren, Josh Haskell (Ashley), Joe Haskell (Brooke), Justin Haskell, Jeremy Haskell, Jarod Haskell (Katie), Kelsey Parrish (John), Shelbie Burrus (Mike), Tricia Pierce (Ryan) and Brent Chupp; and her sisters, Norma Beneze of Cañon City, CO and Carol Aldridge of Maroa. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1320 W Arbor Dr, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Betty's honor may be made to: Northeast Community Fund, First Baptist Church or Cancer Care Specialists Charitable Fund and Scholarship Program.
