She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Brunner); her husband James Harrison Mathes Sr.; and her granddaughter Belinda Scallions. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Scallions (David) of Tovey, Illinois; and her grandson Brian Scallions (Bernadette Lyons) of Tovey, Illinois. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
