With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benita May Spellman of Decatur, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Irwin and Norin Allen (Gillispie); her sons, Randy Spellman and Curt Spellman; and her sister Doris Earles.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hardcastle (Dean) of Black Canyon, AZ, Scott Spellman (Carol) of Clinton, IL and Buddy Spellman of Clinton, IL; and her brothers, Dr. James Allen (Mary) of Forsyth, IL and Dr. Harold Allen of Clinton, IL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
