She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Johnson and Lily Johnson (Davis); her husband Henry Raymond Young; her siblings, Genevieve, Johnny, James, Helen, Wanda and Robert; and her great grandchild Isaac Sweeney.
She is survived by: her children, Terry R. Young of Long Creek, IL, Carol A. Stevens (Larry) of Hannibal, MO, Tommy L. Young (Karen) of Millstadt, IL and Connie Heinz (Jeff) of Forsyth, IL; her sister Doris Hammel; and her grandchildren, Jobeth Sweeney, Henry Young, Barbara A. Van Manen, Justin Young, Jennifer Watkins, Jeremy Young, Rex Goodman, Darci Goodman and Megan Heinz. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526).
