She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rocco Romano and Domenica Romano; her husband Dewey Barr; her daughter Kathy Piotrowicz; her son-in-law John Piotrowicz of Evanston, Ill.; her children, Angela Barr-Cornell of Orlando, Fla., Maria Barr of Decatur and David Barr of Bradenton, Fla.; her son-in-law Gregory Scott Cornell; and her grandson Michael Weiss. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to hospice—the compassionate organization was a godsend to the family in her final months—or to St. Patrick's School or St. Teresa High School where her children attended.
