She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Roy Everett and Sandra Lear (Allison). She is survived by: her children, Erik Smith (Olivia) of Decatur, Lucas A. Smith (Jessica) of Hammond and Teairra Smith; and her brother Arden Lear of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
