Amie Sue Evers, 44, passed away on January 5, 2023, at her home in Decatur, IL.
Amie was born to Kirk and Sue Weaver on December 13, 1978, in Ogden UT.
Amie loved music, the sound of children's laughter, Sunsets on the ocean while walking barefoot on the beach feeling the sand beneath her feet, Sitting quietly on a warm summer's evening. Listening to the birds sing to her.
Amie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was full of life and knew how to uplift those around her with her infectious laughter. We will remember her for her selfless giving and her ability to find the good in those around her. Amie was a cheerful person. She loved deeply and was loved by many in return. Because of her selfless nature she put others' needs ahead of her own. She went to Northridge High School.
Amie is survived by her husband, Matthew Evers; father, Kirk (Penny) Weaver; mother Sue Harwood; children, Nicholas Weaver, Aliyah (Jaden) Anderson and Lily Cavalli, Marcus (Jocelyn) Evers, McCoy (Suellen) Evers and Mitchell Evers, Kayli (Eli) Maxfield; brothers, Jeremy (Heather) Weaver, Jason Weaver and Chris (Britney) Weaver; sisters, Patty and Jennifer (Paul) Osborne and Aunt, Heidi (Andy) Jarnagin and Mother and father -in-law Martin (Mary) Evers as well as other extended family and friends.
Penny, Cooper, and Willow her bulldogs she adored and loved so much treated like her kids...her fur babies. I'll make sure to give them cookies and 'loney' Penny's bologna
Amie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don (Delores) Kimbal, Floyd (Bonnie) Weaver and brother Doug Weaver.
